Forest Fun After-school

In our After-school Outdoor Recreational Program, kids get to play in the beloved Fern Gully Forest that is just one block from ORLA, the Olympia Regional Learning Academy, off Boulevard and 15th Ave SE, Olympia.

We play with imagination, nature creations, yoga, meditation, mindfulness practices, stories, dance, making music and art, as well as cooking and other life skills. We help children build essential skills to be successful in school and in life. This includes increased awareness, self-expression, confidence, interpersonal and emotional regulation skills.

For Elementary Aged Kids After-school 3:15 - 5:15pm, except Wednesdays: 2:15 - 5:15pm.

Early drop-off & late pick-up inquire for availability and options.

In addition to our nature-based activities, such as imaginative play, wilderness awareness, place-based science and experiential learning through observation and exploration, plant and animal identification, and storytelling, children also develop friendships and collaboration with team-building games.

We build social awareness emotional regulation skills with mindfulness practices, yoga, dance, art, music and of course PLAY!

Kids cultivate courage, compassion, confidence, emotional resilience, kindness, friendships, collaborative innovation, critical thinking and problem solving skills, and much more!

Pick-up Services if your child goes to ORLA we walk together one-block to Fern Gully Forest.
